In 2010/2011, I began my studies at the University of Kelaniya, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. I started my career in journalism in 2015 at Lak FM as a Trainee in the News division, gaining valuable experience. By 2016, I was a News Reporter at Sitha FM, where I sharpened my reporting skills.
From 2017 to 2022, I worked at Swarnavahini in various roles, including News Editor, Journalist, Political Program Host, Program Announcer, and Web News Editor, leading the popular political show "Ira Hari Kelin."
In 2023, I joined eLearning.lk as a Freelance Presenter and Program Director, where I launched "Inside Story with Hasini," a talk show highlighting impactful stories from Sri Lanka. Later that year, I moved to the Independent Television Network to lead the News Division - Digital and direct the mental health program "Triple P." I also contribute to children's content on YouTube channels like "My Buddies" and "SL Kids."
